Here are some of my prototype games made real with GenAI. For many years I built team games for EpicWin.Team. Remote teams enjoyed Empire Building and others. I have a pipeline of upcoming games too. So today’s article is about taking an upcoming game and making it into a playable game.
Busy Bee – Multiplayer Break Out/Arkanoid clone
I built team games and one of them was taking Break Out (below) and making it multiplayer. I set it in a bee hive and gave it a bee theme.

In 2021 had made a proof of concept game, and recorded a promotional video for the game (below). GenAI tools took the promotional video and turned it into a playable game. Just like all GenAI, some steering input from the human (me) was still required.

Turning the Promotional Video into a Playable Game
Here is a snapshot of me using Claude Opus 5 High. The Busy_Bee.mp4 is simply the promotional video above.

Claude Opus 5 High
Below is the embed of the actual game created by Claude Opus 5 High… you can begin playing right here. When ready, click “Start the shift“.
If you prefer to play in a new tab click here.
ChatGPT 5.6
ChatGPT 5.6 failed and could not view the video. I gave it a couple of attempts and both failed the same way. So Claude is the only tool currently capable of taking video as an input. See below transcript snippet from ChatGPT 5.6

Grok 4.6
Grok 4.6 worked but output the game in a format I cannot easily export or embed. Grok 4.6 was very slow, possibly due to my very low usage ceiling… I only get grok via a twitter user subscription.
The initial stages did not play correctly, clicking the Play Solo button did not work. Fixing this up with Grok took a long time (10 minutes)
I’ve attached a couple of screenshots of Grok’s output.
